Based on your pet’s condition, we may recommend a professional dental cleaning to remove plaque and tartar from the teeth. All dental cleanings are performed under general anesthesia to allow access to plaque and tartar hiding under the gumline. Since more than half of your pet’s tooth surface is below the gumline, this procedure is essential.
